Live from the Philadelphia Podcasting Society’s Podcast Fair comes a special episode of It Came From the Indies! Martin talks to Tony Trov and Johnny Zito of South Fellini about their two movies Alpha Girls: A Satanic Sorority Slasher and the recently-shot American Exorcist. Tony and Johnny talk about their media-spanning projects, from comics to Philly-inspired shirts, to their feature films. They talk about leveraging the good will of the local community in Philadelphia in order to create interesting works with the character of the city, taking care of your crew, having a woman of color in a leading role, and how to successfully utilize crowd funding. This was recorded in a bar so the patrons are somewhat loud so this doesn’t have the usual high *cough* quality of It Came From the Indies but is still a great listen with a couple of really cool guys with great attitudes.
